The Doc In 2000

This is Doc's Place BBS Server. Screaming Intel Pentium IV 1.6 GHX! With A GIG Of Ram! Screaming Under Windows 2000 Server! The BBS Runs WinServer (AKA Wildcat 5). Internet Connection Is Through Dedicated 768/384k Network ADSL. We also run Xitami as the primary Web Server. And War FTP Server to provide Fidonet backbone feeds.

The Doc In 1995

This Is The Drooldish, We used it to receive Fidonet Echoes from Planetconnect.com back in 1994. It was mounted on this 100.00 car because the City Of St Petersburg wanted a professional contractor to install it & a structional engineer to certify it to withstand 110 mph winds.. What a joke! It was a riot to see the cops drive by wondering what the droolnet was!  Now that's another story :)

Docs Place BBS Back In 1995. Running Wildcat 4.X Dos Under Desqview & Qemm Memory Manager. The BBS Had 4 Dial Up Lines That Were Busy 90% Of The Time! The System On The Left Was The Droolnet's Fido Distribution System, It Ran The Satellite Dish Above & D'Bridge Fidonet Mailer To Feed The Net With Fidonet Mail And FDN Shareware Files.
