Doc's Place BBS was founded in 1991 as a dial up Fidonet Bulletin Board System, that has been upgraded to allow access from the internet. It was one of the First of it's kind in 1998 to be launched on the internet! I am proud to say, in 2007 We are still here! And average well over 100 callers each day from all over the world! You can view a Screen Capture Of the BBS desktop too.
Doc's Place is a Free Service available to the Fidonet BBS Community to send & receive FTSC style echomail, and routed netmail. You will find the complete Fidonet Backbone Conferences Inside. Along with several old outdated Shareware CD's chock full of old DOS, OS/2 and 16 bit Windows shareware, that is perfect for that old dinosaur computer sitting in your garage for years!
Login options are through your Web Browser or Telnet. The BBS is independent of this web site and is operating on a dedicated P4 Machine under Windows 2000 Professional. It is connected to the internet by cable modem, but will support 10+ connections at a time with no problems. If you need to, Contact Me Here
