The net is buzzing about the DNC slashing its fundraising photo-op with mule-faced Kamala Harris by 60%. So, fellow democrat supporters will not divvy up $15,000 to have their photo taken with Joe Biden’s failure of a border czar. The democratic national committee slashed its price to $5,000 desperately trying to save their bombing photo-op. They’d have to pay me six figures! š
The New York Post reports: The cost of everything is going up under the Biden administration, well, maybe except one thing. The Democratic National Committee has reportedly cut prices for fundraising photo ops with Vice President Kamala Harris from a whopping $15,000 to $5,000. The cost of taking a photo with Harris at last monthās DNCās Womenās Leadership Forum was slated to start at $15,000 before it was eventually postponed due to an apparent lack of ticket sales, Puck reported on Tuesday. Now, the DNC is said to have dropped the price per photo by 60% for the veepās California fundraiser later this month. Gleeful Twitter users immediately seized on Harrisā apparent lack of popularity, saying the VP would have to pay them to pose for a photo with Harris.
Breitbart News reports: The price for a photo with the vice president at the Womanās Leadership Forum fundraiser in May reportedly cost attendees $15,000. But that event wasĀ postponedĀ until the fall due to a lack of ticket sales. Upon postponement, DNC spokesperson Daniel Wessel claimed Kamala Harris is still a huge draw for events but did not give a reason why the event was rescheduled.Ā Only 28 percent of AmericansĀ approveĀ of Harrisās job performance, according to current polling.
HarrisāsĀ lack of popularity is likely negatively impacting her fundraising abilities. According to Puck, the DNCās June fundraiser in California featuring Harris will onlyĀ chargeĀ $5,000 for a photo, a 66 percent discount from Mayās postponed event. The DNCās inability to fundraise off the vice president looks devastating for the midterm elections. Midterm congressional races are fueled by large political committees which rely on high-profile politicians to bring in donations. But Harrisās ability to aid the DNCās fundraising efforts seems insignificant at worst and marginal at best.
Harrisās fundraising failures are unsurprising since her polling numbers are even worse than President Joe Bidenās. Only 28 percentĀ approvedĀ of Harris in April, while 62 percent disapproved. In contrast, Bidenās approvalĀ ratingĀ is 32 percent with 57 percent disapproving.
