Ron DeSantis vs Charlie Crist Debate 10/24/22 Instant Video Replay. If you missed this debate between our beloved Ron DeSantis and Charlie Crist it is a must-watch midterms debate. No matter how hard Crist tried to cut down DeSantis he failed miserably. Charlie hammered the abortion narrative hard and brought up homeowner’s insurance but failed to disclose he ran State Farm out of Florida back in 2009 when he was then our Republican governor. After the debate, Crist continued tweeting his usual untruths!
Red State reports: Ron DeSantis vs Charlie Crist debate was on Monday evening in the first and only gubernatorial debate of the cycle. With just two weeks remaining for election day, it was the final chance for Crist to showcase his candidacy in the face of the incumbent governor’s bully pulpit. How did it go for the Democrat? People will have to make up their own minds on that, but for my money, the beatdown by DeSantis was so thorough that I almost don’t even know where to begin. There are so many clips of him decimating Crist that I could easily cover a dozen different ones and still have more material left over.
Crist was thrown so off guard he started rambling about abortion when pressed on the mutilation of children going on at “transgender clinics” across the country. He simply had no defense for what he and his party support, which isn’t shocking given there can be no defense for chopping off a teenage girl’s breasts or sterilizing a teenage boy. On education, DeSantis remained in his element, hammering Crist for opposing a bill that simply stops the teaching of sexuality by teachers to kindergarteners.
Charlie Crist has resorted to tweeting a slew of lies about Ron DeSantis backed up by failed Democrat candidate Nikki Fried and many alleged Twitter bots cheering him on. I’m a lifelong 70-year-old Floridian and it’s my opinion that Ron DeSantis is the best governor Florida has had in my lifetime. I also remember when Charlie Crist ran State Farm out of Florida! Let’s give Ron another term and support his running for president in 2028 if he decides that is his political path forward after finishing his second term!
