Mail-in ballots could be behind the latest covid variant Omicron and other possible new Covid-19 variants mysteriously appear as 2022 midterm voting date nears. I can just imagine the left pushing for mail-in ballots, saying it’s unsafe to vote in person. Meanwhile, as the media continues to beat the Omicron covid variant drums, the supreme court struck down another vaccine mandate!
Jurist Legal News reports: A federal district court in Missouri Monday issued a preliminary injunction halting the Biden administration’s vaccine mandate for health care workers in 10 states. The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) issued an interim final rule on November 5 revising the requirements Medicare- and Medicaid-certified providers have to meet in order to continue to participate in the programs. The rule would require staff at those providers to be vaccinated against COVID-19, receiving their first dose by December 6.
A coalition of ten states, led by Missouri and Nebraska, filed suit challenging the mandate. They claimed that it would exacerbate staffing shortages, particularly in rural hospitals and clinics. Judge Matthew Schelp agreed with the states’ claim, finding that allowing the rule to go into effect would cause irreparable harm to the states and their healthcare industries. He found that the nature and breadth of the CMS mandate require clear authorization from Congress, and Congress has provided none. Schelp also noted that CMS acted in an arbitrary and capricious manner by departing from its long-standing practice of encouraging rather than forcing vaccination.

Remembering back last year when the coronavirus first hit America we didn’t know much about it. Personally, I believe shutting down our economy was not really needed. We relied mostly on the world health organization (WHO) and our government officials decided a shutdown was the best method to stop the spread. In well over a year since then, we’ve gained a lot of knowledge that has saved lives. I remember well being restricted to my home, only going to Walmart for food. Highways were nearly empty of vehicles. The shutdown was hell to go through and I killed the shut-in time blogging about the upcoming elections. America can not shutdown again. Are Democrat’s using covid fearmongering to plot mail-in ballots stealing the midterms? I can imagine hearing it, echoed by mainstream media, it’s unsafe to vote in person, safely vote by mail to stop the spread! 🙁
